BENTONVILL­E — Michael Andrew Oxford,

36, passed away on January 21, 2024 in Bentonvill­e, Ark. He was born June 23, 1987, in Rogers, Ark., to Kevin and Susan (Ruskauff) Oxford.

He served in the Air Force as Airman First Class and was deployed twice to Afghanista­n. Michael loved animals and was a veterinari­an nurse at All Pets Animal Hospital in Bentonvill­e.

He spent many hours outdoors climbing, floating on the Buffalo River, camping, and hiking with his dog, Lady.

Michael was an Eagle Scout and worked at Camp Orr for five years and really enjoyed working with the kids. He went to Rogers High School where he was a drum major and football player.

He had an amazing sense of humor and was a wonderful brother, son, and uncle. His nieces and nephews loved to spend time with him. He was always available and willing to help whenever needed. He never wanted to let anyone down. Michael will be sorely missed by many friends, family, and coworkers.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Susan Oxford of Garfield; brother, John Oxford and his wife, Glorie, of Garfield; nieces, Erika and Toody Mae; nephews, Harrison and William; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michael’s visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Rollins Funeral Home from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., with a celebratio­n of life to follow at 12 p.m.
