PRAIRIE GROVE — Kenneth Arden Rader
died on February 14th of natural causes, following a short hospitalization at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark.. Kenneth was born on September 1, 1928, in Fayetteville to Arden and Ethel Rader. He was raised and lived in Fayetteville and later moved to Prairie Grove. He married Dorothy Ann Morgan, of Fayetteville in 1950, and together they raised five children.
He worked at Ozarks Electric until he retired at age 62. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and devoted most of his life actively as a minister, most recently at Valley View Congregation in Farmington.
Kenneth was known and loved by many friends and family, through the years. Although his primary focus was his ministry, his hobbies were his guitar, playing cards with friends and family, and woodworking in his shop. Most remember his big smile and affable nature.
He is survived by his sons (wives) Kenneth Duane (Cathie) of Fayetteville, Ronald Dean (Antonia) of Prairie Grove, Michael Gene (Dena) of Elm Springs, and Christopher Jon (Maritza) of Fayetteville. He had two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Charles (Bety) of Wichita, Kansas, and Lonnie; his sisters, Blanche (Carl) and Velma (Stewart) Liddell; and his daughter, Sally Ann, all of Fayetteville.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Valley View Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 454 N. Centennial Ave., West Fork on Saturday, March 2nd at 2 p.m. Kenneth will be interred at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, at a future date.
