Committed to excellent patient care

-

Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas is located in Rogers, Ark., with 31 clinics and outpatient locations throughout the region. It is part of Mercy, one of the 20 largest U.S. health care systems and named the top large system in the U.S. for excellent patient experience by NRC Health.

Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas has received a host of awards recognizing its service and commitment to patient care, quality and safety. The recognition received includes nine straight As from The Leapfrog Group, an independent watchdog organization.

Mercy NWA is currently undergoing its second major expansion within the last decade following the 2022 announcement of a new $500 million investment in health care expansion within the region. This brings Mercy’s total commitment to Northwest Arkansas to almost $1 billion in less than a decade. In 2016, Mercy announced the $300 million phase one, which included a 275,000-square-foot patient tower, 1,000 new health care jobs and primary care and specialty clinics in Benton and Washington counties.

The second phase of Mercy’s expansion nearly doubles the number of primary care physicians and specialists and addresses the growing need of the booming regional population by increasing services in neuroscience, emergency, women’s and children’s, orthopedics, gastroenterology and behavioral health.

The half-billion-dollar investment will expand the emergency department and isolation rooms, add oncology care, create more outpatient care facilities and increase clinic locations. Mercy remains focused on increasing access to highquality, lower-cost health care.

Care Philosophy

“I have been drawn to healthcare since I was little. Arkansas means a lot to me, and I want to make a difference in the community. My patients are the cornerstone of what I do every day. I enjoy making relationships with my patients. I approach each visit by creating an environment that is based on mutual respect and honesty. I want my patients to know that I am on their team and that we have the same goals in mind.”

Care Philosophy

“General medicine and Senior

Focused Care. I want to use my skills to treat patients over a period of time and build a relationship with them. I like to pay attention to my patients and take the time to bring out problems that they might not mention during a visit. I want to focus on their daily lives and address all of their problems. My goal is to help our senior population live their best lives.”

Care Philosophy

“I’ve never wanted to do anything except for health care. That’s the only thing— I’ve only wanted to be a doctor my entire life. I think it comes from my love for wanting to help those in need, and health care is one thing that everybody needs. I love the fact that I can have such a positive impact in people’s lives every day, even with the little things. So, my approach to care is to try to get a really positive, trusting foundation started with my patients. I like to try to look at the patient as a whole, whether that be emotionally, physically, spiritually, and take every single part of their— the whole person into consideration and just really try to work with the patient to find out what their goals of care are and go from there.”

Care Philosophy

“I love good communication. I like to talk to my patients. Give them time to talk about who they are and what are their needs. Over time, we become like a family and that gives me a chance to help them as best as I can.”
