TULSA, Okla. — Ruby N. Clardy,

94, passed into eternal life at her home in Tulsa, Okla., on March 17, 2024. Born October 11, 1929, in Spring Valley, Ark., to Harlan and Lucy (Lawson) Phillips, Ruby was raised, along with five siblings, on a farm in the Burkshed, Ark., community and resided in the Hickory Creek, Ark., community upon her 1951 marriage to Harold Clardy.

She worked as a homemaker, raising three daughters, and thereafter expressed her creative skills through ownership and operation of a small cake, florals and other services business.

Until his death in 2010, she and Harold enjoyed their retirement years exploring the outdoors on their property on Beaver Lake, flea marketing, researchin­g family genealogy, and doting on their grandchild­ren from afar.

Ruby relocated to Tulsa, Okla., in 2013, making her home with daughter, Jeanette Clardy and former spouse Mickey Euliss, until her passage.

She embraced her new life in Tulsa, particular­ly enjoying the Philbrook Museum and Tulsa Botanic Gardens floral displays, making new friends, working with a personal trainer, and relaxing on the patio. She was a member of Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale, Ark.

Predecease­d by spouse, Harold Clardy; daughter, Caroline Clardy; and son-in-law, Chris Reimer, Ruby is survived by children, Jeanette Clardy (former spouse Mickey Euliss) of Tulsa, and Sue Reimer, of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchild­ren, Shelby Reimer Gardner (Bryce) of Cincinnati, and Skyler Reimer of Seattle, Wash.; 16 nieces and nephews; and canine companion, Mia.

Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to Ninde Brookside of Tulsa. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2024, with a service beginning at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 9101 S. Harvard, Tulsa, and interment following in the Calvary Cemetery family plot. Her spouse and daughter will be reburied with Ruby at a later date.
