CENTERTON — Paula Coleman,
57, of Centerton, Ark., went to her heavenly home March 26, 2024. She was born April 9, 1966 to Jim and Mary Coleman in Rogers, Ark.
As a child, she spent many happy hours with her large extended family. Paula attended school in Bentonville and graduated in 1984. In 1988, she earned a degree in Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. She went on to earn a Master’s in Social Work.
Paula was a devoted therapist who cared deeply about her clients. She was employed by 4 Rivers Counseling in Bentonville. The best day of Paula’s life was February 19, 2006 when she adopted her beautiful daughter, Bethany. Paula’s favorite role in life was being Bethany’s mother. She was an amazing mother and was so proud of Bethany.
Before Paula suffered from health problems, she was an active member of Bentonville Community Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed working with the teens and children. Paula followed Christ’s example of always putting others first. She gave everything she had to those she loved. She was the best mother, sister, aunt, daughter, friend, and therapist that anyone could ask for. She will truly be missed.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Mary Coleman.
She is survived by her daughter Bethany, of the home – currently attending Kansas University, brother John Coleman (wife Suzie) of Bentonville, and brother Michael Coleman of Bentonville. She is also survived by nieces, Kelsi Coleman and Kylie Coleman.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Bentonville Community Church. The family will be receiving friends at 1 p.m. Paula will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
