FORT SMITH — Vicci Lynn Hiller,

68, of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024. She was born August 5, 1955 in Mulberry, Ark. to Gene and Mary Jane Lessley.

She moved to Fort Smith when she was 6 years old and attended Trusty Elementary, Darby Junior High and graduated from Northside High School. Vicci’s career was spent in the insurance industry working 20 years for Brown-Hiller-Clark as the Bond Manager. She went on to marry Sam Hiller on February 10, 1990. Vicci was an amazing cook and loved to share her talent preparing meals for family and friends. Her joy in life was traveling with her husband, Sam, and spending time with her children and grandchild­ren, who she loved dearly.

Vicci leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Sam Hiller; mother, Mary Jane Lessley; son, Sam Austin and children Molly and Banks; son Scott Austin, wife Whitney and their children, Jace and Landon; stepson Pat Hiller, wife Sandy and their daughters Brooklyn and Atleigh; stepdaught­er Page Owen, husband Shawn and their children Easton and Brecken, and her fiancé Beaux Peck; sister, Shari Horton, husband Tim, their daughter J.J. Chronister and her daughter Ellie Jane.

Vicci was preceded in death by her father, Gene Lessley.

A graveside service and burial of ashes will be held Thursday, March 28th, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
