TONTITOWN — Ralph Dwayne Pendergraf­t,

age 86, lifelong resident of Springdale, Ark., passed away peacefully to his heavenly home, surrounded by friends and family April 12, 2024. He was born on March 11, 1938, in Springdale, Ark., to Loren and Wilma Clark Pendergraf­t.

He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, and great-grandfathe­r. He had a huge heart and always willing to help anyone in need, and was quick to give advice and words of wisdom. He was a Christian being a member of Harmon United Methodist Church for many years and a current member of First United Methodist Church in Springdale.

Ralph graduated from Springdale High in the class of ‘56. He continued to plan and attend Class Reunions throughout his life. After graduation, he opened Ralph’s 66 Service Station on Emma Avenue. Shortly thereafter, he met and married the love of his life and best friend, his bride, Nancy Mae Nida, staying true for 65 yrs. On June 11, he and Nancy were married and moved to the farm in Tontitown, where they started a lifelong career in farming and constructi­on.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Nancy; the four K’s: Kev- in and Susan of Tontitown, Ark., Kendall and Stephanie, of Hindsville, Ark., Kyle, of Marshallfi­eld, Mo., and Karol and Gary, of Springdale, Ark.; 10 grandchild­ren: Jared and Katy, Nathan and Rachael, Bryan and Kiara, Megan and Bodi, Tyler and Femi, Kori and Cody, Kami, Jeffrey and Kelsey, Zackry, and Eli; 11 great-grandchild­ren; sister, Peggy Jo Penzo; several nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Wilma Pendergraf­t; a brother, Gurden; and sister, Betty Rea.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 5-7 p.m., at Westfield Chapel, in Springdale. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., on Thursday, at First United Methodist Church, 206 W. Johnson St., Springdale, Ark. To read the full obit & Online condolence­s: www. WestfieldC­hapel.com.
