SPRINGDALE — William Ricky Teague,

age 70, of Springdale, Ark., peacefully passed away May 20, 2024. Born May 31, 1953, in Memphis, Tenn., to Rex Teague and Lila Hogan Teague, William graduated from Webster University with a Master’s in Business Administra­tion. He married Elaine Compton on June 9, 1973, in New Orleans, La. Preceded in death are his parents, Rex and Lila Teague; and brother, Larry Teague.

William is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elaine Teague; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Clinehens, and husband Chad of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; son, Will Teague and wife Kelsey of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; granddaugh­ters, Lauren, Lily, Wyatt, and Keaton; and brother, Roger Teague of Clarksvill­e, Tenn.

William found fulfillmen­t working at Pace Industries, serving as Vice President of Human Resources as well as teaching at the University of Arkansas in the Master of Operations Department. He had over 30 years experience in the field of human resources management and has held senior positions in several Fortune 500 Companies.

Our beloved father and husband, was an avid scuba diver, golfer and traveler. He was an eager co-leader in his daughter’s Indian Princesses club and active in his son’s Boy Scout troop. He was a member of University Baptist Church for 28 years. Supporting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital by participat­ing in their golf tournament­s and various other fundraiser­s were near and dear to his heart. His friends and family will dearly miss him.
