FAYETTEVIL­LE — Brenda Lee Burson,

57, of Fayettevil­le; passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale. She was born Tuesday, September 6, 1966, in Eureka Springs to Freddie Andrew and Reta Louise Alley Todd.

Brenda married Mark Lyndal Burson on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Springdale, and together they were parents to six children. She was a licensed practical nurse at Palm Bay Hospital for many years and a cherished member of New Hope Church. Brenda was fun and outgoing, with a passion for helping others. She loved cooking and gardening, especially growing flowers. Most of all, she was deeply devoted to her family, loving her children and grandchild­ren beyond measure.

Brenda was preceded in death by her paternal grandfathe­r, Andy Todd; grandparen­ts, Freddie and Ethel Todd, and maternal grandparen­ts, Frank and Dortha Alley.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Burson, of the home; her son and daughterin-law, Zack and Sierra Monroe of Palm Bay, Fla.; four daughters and two sons-inlaw, Shara and Darrin Davis of Palm Bay, Fla., Lisa Marcozzi of Middletown, Del., Nicki and Jamie Thornton of Fayettevil­le, Candice Burson of Fayettevil­le, and Sam Burson of Rogers; and 13 grandchild­ren. She is also survived by two sisters and brothersin-law, Patty and Jerry Whittmore of Sonora, Teresa Pharris and Bobby Joe Edmonds of Clifty; her in-laws, Jack and Virginia Burson of Springdale; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
