THE SOUTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES 2022 SOFTBALL ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM AND MVP

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial’s Emma Frost was tabbed the 2022 South Atlantic Conference Softball Championship MVP as voted by the tournament participant head coaches, the Conference announced on Tuesday. The panel also selected an 11-member All-Tournament Team.

Frost, a junior from Morristown, Tenn., and last year’s SAC Pitcher of the Year, earned the SAC Championship MVP Award after tallying 18 strikeouts in her 16 innings played. Additionally, in Frost’s game against No. 1 seeded Anderson she took yet another complete-game victory, striking out seven for her 20th victory on the season.

Lincoln Memorial and Carson-Newman led the way with four players each on the All-Tournament Team, followed by Anderson with two and LenoirRhyne with one. Below is a look at the 2022 SAC Softball Championship All-Tournament Team.
