THE MULTIHYPHENATE HEIDI LUM JETTED TO MIAMI TO CELEBRATE HER OCEAN DRIVE COVER AT OUR ANNUAL ART OF THE PARTY EVENT AND THE ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH KICKOFF.
It was almost difficult to spot bombshell Heidi Klum—even at 5-foot-9 and in heels— amidst the frenzy of fans and flashing cameras as she arrived at Roche Bobois’s Wynwood showroom to rejoice in her December cover at annual Art Basel event, Art of the Party. In a sparkling black Saint Laurent jumpsuit and Giuseppe Zanotti heels, she posed on the red carpet before making the dreams of die-hard fans a reality by flashing her million-dollar smile and snapping selfies with them. Partygoers had their eyes on Klum and tennis pro Venus Williams the entire evening, as they savored bites from STK and danced to beats curated by DJ Rascal and Walshy Fire of Major Lazer.
Also on display was Klum’s reimagining of Roche Bobois’s iconic Furtif desk, which she outfitted with her signature colorful butterflies. The desk was one of six created for the FURTIF ART PROJECT, a collaboration that brought together six artists to design desks that were auctioned off for charity. Klum’s desk benefited UNICEF, one of her favored charitable organizations. “[UNICEF] dedicates their lives to helping other people,” said Klum. “It’s very humbling and really makes you want to do more to help others.”
