RANDALL SLAVIN
Born in Hollywood, California, Randall Slavin was working a dead-end job in a gas station when he wandered into a local photography studio and struck up a friendship with the owner, who took the young Mr. Slavin under his wing and taught him some photography basics. Since then, Slavin’s photography has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, GQ, Esquire, Rolling Stone, and many other publications. For this issue, he shot Ocean Drive’s cover star, Charlotte Mckinney. How would you describe Mckinney on and off camera? Charlotte in front of the camera is the complete opposite of Charlotte off camera. On camera, she is all seduction, curves, legs, and passion. Off camera, she’s just the biggest dork in the whole world—selfdeprecating and really goofy. She’s just a blast.
