You are not star­ing at the cover of a fash­ion mag­a­zine (though he was fea­tured in Vogue,) but if good looks won tour­neys, Alexan­der Zverev would be rack­ing them up eas­ily! Zverev, who’s nick­named Sascha, was born with the sport of ten­nis pump­ing through his veins con­sid­er­ing his fam­ily breathes the sport. With his fa­ther as his coach, Zverev’s mother, also a ten­nis coach and his brother on the ten­nis cir­cuit too, this sport was a no-brainer for the su­per tall ten­nis ace who be­gan play­ing at the age of 5. Zverev claimed his first ATP ti­tle at the St. Peters­burg Open against US Open Champ Stan Wawrinka dur­ing the fi­nals which lasted two hours and 23 min­utes. The 19-year-old, ranked 24, be­came the youngest player to win an ATP World Tour ti­tle since 2008. Stay tuned for more to come from this 6’6 win­ner!
