From her su­per­toned arms to her wash­board abs (and of course that killer booty), Jen­nifer Lopez has never looked bet­ter. But the triple threat — who will cel­e­brate her 50th birth­day in July — is the first to ad­mit that a whole lot of work went into her envy-in­duc­ing physique. “I’ve taken care of my­self [over the years], and now it shows,” she shared. The su­per­star typ­i­cally starts her day with a sweat ses­sion, whether it’s weight train­ing, car­dio or a part­ner work­out with her beau of nearly two years, for­mer Yan­kees slug­ger Alex Ro­driguez. The “I’m Real” singer also has two celeb train­ers on speed dial: David Kirsch, who she does cir­cuit and HIIT train­ing with in NYC, and Tracy An­der­son, who tar­gets her core, butt and thighs in freestyle ses­sions when­ever JLo is on the West Coast. “They have two to­tally dif­fer­ent ap­proaches,” she’s said. “I like switch­ing it up.” And the star is equally mind­ful of what she puts into her body. On top of a nu­tri­ent-rich diet (think lean pro­teins like pork, chicken or fish with quinoa and sal­ads), she also steers clear of al­co­hol and caf­feine, drinks lots of wa­ter and al­ways car­ries “fruit and veg­gies with me to give me some­thing to snack on.” JLo loves the re­sults, which have en­sured she’ll be ready to slip into a wed­ding gown at a mo­ment’s no­tice. “I feel sexy, I feel youth­ful, I feel pretty some­times!” she’s said. “I em­brace who I am.”
