This summer, Jenni “JWoww” Farley shocked fans when she opened up about her 2-year-old son, Greyson’s developmental struggles and limited vocabulary on an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. But now, the reality star has revealed even more. “Greyson, he was recently diagnosed with autism,” Jenni said. But “he’s made leaps and bounds when it comes to speech. He’s understanding words better, which was his issue.” In fact, Jenni — who also shares daughter Meilani, 4, with her estranged husband, Roger Mathews — confessed that Greyson didn’t even know his name until after his second birthday. “It was like I was speaking another language to him. [But] now he’s understanding simple words.” While Jenni has always felt that her son “is perfect,” she admitted that watching her little boy struggle was difficult at first. “It was really heartbreaking and frustrating as a mom when you see other 2-year-olds who are speaking and living their best life,” she said, stressing the fact that Greyson is making huge progress. “Within the last two weeks he knows green, yellow, red and white, and he’s [doing sign language] so much more.” She added: “I’m, like, a proud mom over here. He’s come so far.”
