Fresh 18th-century colors; the Sixties redux.

1. SHADES OF PRUSSIA

2. INDIGO BLUE

3. A BRIGHT NATURAL

4. ADAMESQUE PINK

5. VIVID IMPRESSION

6. GEORGE’S COLOR

The New Room (aka Large Dining Room) at George Washington’s Virginia home is famously painted in historic tints of verditer and verdigris green. 7. DOMINO EFFECT

Abigail is based on archival Domino papers, a type of blocked and stenciled print used as liners for 18th-century trunks, drawers, and book endpapers. 8. CLAMBAKE COLORS

9. LAMPBLACK YELLOW

10. FEDERAL HIGH STYLE

In this soft green (plus two additional colorways), Locust Grove Arabesque is reproduced from fragments of a French wallpaper discovered at the 1790s Federal-style Locust Grove house in Kentucky.
