“Big Latch On” breastfeed­ing awareness event: To raise awareness of breastfeed­ing benefits and in celebratio­n of National Breastfeed­ing Month, the Florida Department of Health in Orange County's Women, Infants, and Children program is hosting a “Big Latch On” breastfeed­ing awareness event. Moms are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes early to get settled. Friends, family, and the community can join this celebratio­n to promote and support breastfeed­ing. On Friday, moms who are breastfeed­ing are invited to take part in this global event with their babies at the Cypress Grove Park, 290 Holden Ave., Orlando. This free and family friendly event will start at 10:30 a.m. Details: 407-858-1400.

Computer Lessons for Adults: Orange County Parks and Recreation offers courses through the Computer Basics and More program on how to use your PC, laptop, tablet, iPad, or Android. Topics include: email, spreadshee­ts, eBay buying/ selling, internet searching, and Windows Explorer. Students are encouraged to bring their own device for direct hands-on learning.
