Donald R. LeDuc, 89, passed away on December 30, 2018, while surrounded by members of his family. Formerly of Manchester, NH, Don was predecease­d by his eldest son Jeffery LeDuc, and is survived by his wife of 67 years, Audrey (Mayo) LeDuc of Orlando; their daughter Donna (LeDuc) Chase of St. Cloud; and their sons Todd LeDuc of Centrevill­e, VA, Scott LeDuc of Lake Mary, FL, Ross LeDuc of Longwood, FL; along with 12 grandchild­ren; 10 great-grandchild­ren; and many dear friends. Known as “Duke” in his younger years, Don was born in Winooski, VT on March 7, 1929. Don was educated in local schools and graduated from St. Michaels College in Vermont in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. Afterwards he went to work for the Bell Telephone System and retired from AT&T 34 years later. A long-time fan of sports, Don became a referee and umpire. An avid golfer and longtime member of Derryfield CC in Manchester, NH and in later years Dubsdread CC in Winter Park, Don carded 6 holes-in-one in his 60+ year golf career. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, January 10 at Newcomer Funeral Home 895 South Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL. A funeral service will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church 4545 Anderson Road Orlando, FL 32812 on Saturday, January 12 at 11:00 AM.
