80, went home to be with the Lord and his loving wife, Judith Porter on December 31, 2018. He was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Quitman, Georgia until he joined the Navy at 17. He was proud of his service to our country and most proud of his family. He is survived by his children Sherri, Phil, Staci, Ez, Shaynon, Nick, R.K., Tracy, Shelli, Bob; grandchild­ren Aimee, Jimmy, Bobby, Megan, Katie, C.J., Becki, Mandi, Bobby, Austin and Chase and 14 great grandchild­ren; 6 siblings Jeannie, Bill, Steve (Renee), David, Joe (Kim) and Becki. He loved and was loved by his family, neighbors and friends who were his extended family. A celebratio­n of his life will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Family Christian Center, 2500 Hwy. 27, Clermont, FL at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital – Tampa, Florida.
