Sheila Carol McFeeley

It is with great sadness that the family of Sheila Carol McFeeley announces her passing on January 2, 2019, at the age of 82, peacefully at home after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Sheila was born November 29, 1936, in Meriden, CT, to the late Lawrence and Shirley DelGrego. She attended Ilion High School and St. Elizabeth College of Nursing. A registered nurse throughout her career, she worked primarily with children with terminal illness and was known for her deep compassion and boundless energy. Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Robert and their children Lauren (Derek) and Rob, grandchildren Maxwell and Isabel, siblings Lawrence (Elizabeth) and Sherry, sister-in-law Jessie (Albert) Anderman, and by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. She was predeceased by daughter Robin.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10, at Noon, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3880 Pleasant Hill Rd, Kissimmee. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (giftfunds.stjude.org) or Catholic Charities of Central Florida (cflcc.org).
