Partisanship

-

Your right to privacy is being routinely violated by the State of Florida. Not only is the state forcing you to publicize personal information, it frequently forces people to publicly declare falsehoods about themselves.

These violations are based on unnecessary political considerations. Political parties are the cause of these violations. Election laws are the tool.

In order to fully participate in our basic power to elect our leaders, Floridians must

declare an association with a political party, even if they find elements of every party abhorrent and unacceptable. Few people agree with every principle of any party, but every person must declare a relationship with one of them or lose our right to participate in the primary election.

By declaring for a party, we become associated with every principle of that party. We are being forced, therefore, to say something about us that is not true.

That can only have evil effects, both politically and personally.
