Troubled marriages: The Retrouvail­le of Orlando program is for couples who are struggling, separated or divorced but would like to give their marriages another chance. It is presented by volunteers. The program includes the March 22-24 weekend session and seven follow-up sessions. Follow-up sessions are free. Revenue is used to continue and expand programs. Reservatio­ns required. March 22-24, San Pedro Center, 2400 Dike Road, Winter Park, couples are asked to make an anonymous donation to cover the cost of their rooms and meals for the weekend session, 352-274-4614.

Road to U.S. Civil War: Valencia College History Professor Carl Creasman will explain the events that led to the Civil War. 2-4 p.m. March Orange County residents who want to receive a free tree to plant in their landscapes should register upon arrival and provide proof of Orange County residency, such as driver’s license, photo I.D., or utility bill. Walk: The Mid-Florida Milers Walking Club, a member of the American Volkssport Associatio­n, is sponsoring a walk on the berms around the 42-ponding areas where water flows from the Iron Bridge Water Treatment plant to the St. Johns River. View scenic vistas and see many birds and other wildlife. Two distances available: 10K (6.2 miles) or 5K (3.1 miles). Orlando Area Historical Rose Society: Bobbie Lang, will present historical anecdotes about roses likely to be for sale at the Leu Gardens plant sale on March 9-10. Friends of the Wekiva River: There will be a screening of “Hidden Secrets of Florida Springs,” a film that explores the mystique and malaise of Florida springs produced by Emmy award-winning producer Bob Gugiere and Bill Belleville, an award-winning environmen­tal writer, documentar­y filmmaker and lecturer. Classical Music Group: Featuring classical guitarists Christophe­r Belt, recently featured in a solo performanc­e for NPR, and Troy Gifford, a nationally-known award-winning guitarist and composer.
