Seminole County, FL (Release Date)-Winston Schwartz and Joseph Schwartz are the Builder/Owners of WJ Homes, one of Florida’s finest luxury semi-custom residential builders. Based in Seminole County, Winston and his son Joseph Schwartz founded this multigenerational family company in 2015.
The Schwartz family has been involved in Florida real estate for three generations. It all started with Arthur Schwartz, who in the 1940’s acquired large tracts of land around an old WWII airbase in a sleepy little town called Boca Raton. After his father passed away, his son Winston Schwartz, oversaw the sale of many of the parcels during the 1970’s and 1980’s. After graduating from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, Winston spent the next 45 years developing and building commercial and Residential projects in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and for the past 35 years here in central Florida. In recent years, his son Joseph, a graduate of George Washington University, joined the family business. Joseph was responsible for identifying a need for a modern, and more contemporary product offering for the Seminole County market; which has long been dominated by mediterranean architecture. He oversaw the design and specifications for 5 new and unique floor plans which are offered in Lake Sylvan Oaks and their newest subdivision Sylvan Trails.

Once their first model opened, they knew they had excited the home buyers in the area.
