Where to get vaccinated,
COVID-19 vaccinations sites now offer shots to all Florida residents 16 and older wanting the Pfizer vaccine or 18 and older wanting the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Note that not all sites offer the Pfizer vaccine and that 16- and 17-year-olds will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and sign a consent form.
This week, the FEMA-run sites in Orlando at Valencia College’s West Campus as well as ones in Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami have switched to administering the Johnson & Johnson one-dose shot to previously unvaccinated residents 18 and older. (See more details below.)
We have compiled a list of vaccination sites across Central Florida that will be updated frequently. (Latest update: April 10.)
There’s also a statewide email address for homebound seniors to register to have the COVID-19 vaccine brought directly to them. To request vaccination, email HomeboundVaccine@ em.myflorida.com or call 1-866-779-6121.
Anyone seeking a vaccination will need proof of being a full- or part-time Florida resident. Examples of accepted documentation include a valid Florida driver’s license or Florida identification card or any two of the following:
A deed, mortgage, monthly mortgage statement, mortgage payment booklet or residential rental or lease agreement.
A utility hookup or work order that is not more than 2 months old or a utility bill that is not more than 2 months old.
Mail from a bank or other financial institution — including checking, savings, or investment account statements — that is not more than 2 months old.
Mail from a government agency, such as a tax bill showing a Florida address, that is not more than 2 months old.
Caution: Beware of scams. Do not fill out Eventbrite vaccine registration forms unless they are provided through a county’s website or the links in this list, and do not register for a vaccination appointment that requires payment. However, many providers ask for insurance information if you have coverage.

Orange County
ORANGE COUNTY CONVENTION CENTER, 9800 International Dr., Orlando: This is a drivethrough site providing up to 4,000 doses a day, with appointments required through the state vaccine portal (https://www. patientportalfl.com/s/?language=en_US). To be notified, sign up for alerts at ocfl.net/vaccine or check back here for updates. The site has the Pfizer vaccine, meaning it is open to Florida residents 16 and up. Note: If you’re a parent or legal guardian wanting to register a 16- or 17-year-old for a vaccination appointment, and don’t already have an account through the state vaccine portal, you must do that first. Then click on the “Register Minors/Wards” tab within your CDR profile. Hours: Vary, based on appointments. The site will close at the end of May with the final first shots of Pfizer given on May 5 as the county moves to using mobile sites.
ORANGE COUNTY BARBER PARK MOBILE SITE, 3701 Gatlin Ave. in Conway area: An Orange County site that starts Monday, April 12, and runs through Friday, April 16, with 1,000 Pfizer shots a day. Hours: Appointment only (ocfl.net/vaccine.) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day while serving walk-ups from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
ORANGE COUNTY LIBRARY SOUTH TRAIL BRANCH, 4600 Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando: This FEMA-run site is for walk-up vaccinations only with no appointments needed. It is expected to run for six to 10 weeks, depending on vaccine supply. Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or while daily allotment lasts), seven days a week.
VALENCIA COLLEGE’S WEST CAMPUS, 1800 S. Kirkman Road, Orlando: This FEMA site is run through a federal-state partnership offering vaccines on a first-come, first-served basis. The site is administering 3,000 Johnson & Johnson one-dose shots a day this week, but anyone who received a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the site is guaranteed their second dose at Valencia. Also, for the week of April 12, supply of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will shrink considerably due to a recent manufacturing mix-up that forced the company to toss out 15 million doses. Meanwhile, the supply of Pfizer or Moderna will increase to help compensate for the loss. Hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
SOUTH ORLANDO Y, 814 W. Oak Ridge Rd., Orlando: FEMA is hosting a one-day walk-up vaccination clinic Monday, April 12, offering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to all adults. Hours: 9 a.m. until supplies are gone.
BLANCHARD PARK Y, 10501 Jay Blanchard Trail, Orlando: FEMA is hosting a one-day walk-up vaccination clinic Tuesday, April 13, offering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to all adults. Hours: 9 a.m. until supplies are gone.
ORLANDO VA MEDICAL CENTER, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando: This is a VA-run site, located in the fourth-floor auditorium of the Lake Nona facility. Appointments and walk-ins are welcome. To schedule, call 407-631-0499 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. All veterans, their spouses, widows and caretakers are now eligible to be vaccinated there, with priority given to veterans who already receive care through the VA. Hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
LAKE BALDWIN VA MEDICAL CENTER, 5201 Raymond St., Orlando: This is a VA-run site, located in Auditorium B of the facility. Appointments and walk-ins are welcome. To schedule, call 407-631-0499. All veterans, their spouses, widows and caretakers are eligible for the vaccine, with priority given to veterans who already receive care through the VA. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
UCF & VALENCIA COLLEGE DOWNTOWN CAMPUS, 500 W. Livingston St., Orlando: This is a walk-up site offering COVID-19 vaccinations on Wednesday, April 14. Residents may park at the UCF Parramore Parking Garage, 323 N. Parramore Ave., Orlando. Hours: April 14, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., or until vaccine allotment runs out.

Seniors who lack transportation may qualify for a free ride from LYNX. You must have a scheduled appointment at the Orange County Convention Center before calling 407-836-3111 to request a scheduled ride. Seniors also may ride LYNX to the Valencia College site, which does not require an appointment.
Seminole County
OVIEDO MALL, 1360 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo (enter from the parking lot closest to District Eat & Play): This is an appointment-only site. New appointments are posted each Thursday at https:// www.seminolecountyfl. gov/. Currently offering the Pfizer vaccine. Hours: Vary, based on appointments. CASSELBERRY
RECREATION CENTER, 200 N. Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry: This is a one-day mobile clinic providing the Pfizer vaccine. Appointments are required at https://www.eventbrite. com/e/covid-19-vaccine-appointment-sign-up-casselberry-tickets-149757888877. Hours: Thursday, April 15, by appointment.

Eventbrite, the appointment system utilized by Seminole County, has a feature to “follow” events created by Seminole County to receive notification if cancellations result in available appointments. Homebound residents should call the county’s Citizen’s Information Line at (407) 665-0000 to request an in-home vaccination visit. The request will be screened for eligibility, with paramedics scheduling in-home visits.
Homebound veterans who served in WW2 or the Korean War can put in a request for an in-home visit through the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Lake County
LAKE SQUARE MALL, 10401 US-441, Leesburg: This is a state-supported vaccination site with appointments required through the state vaccine portal. Same day appointments may be available scheduling.lakecountyfl.gov. (Walk-ups are not accepted.) Hours: Vary, based on appointments.
ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6803 Old Hwy. 441, Mount Dora: Open for first and second doses on a first-come, firstserved basis on Tuesday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The site will close permanently after that time.
DOH-LAKE COMMUNITY HEALTH SITE, 560 W. DeSoto St., Clermont: Open for scheduled second doses only from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon.
DOH-LAKE UMATILLA SITE, 249 E. Collins St., Umatilla: Open for scheduled second doses only from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon.
COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS AT FOUR CORNERS, 509 Cagan View Rd., Clermont: One-day clinic providing Moderna vaccine to all Florida residents, 18 and up, on a walk-in basis Thursday, April 15, only. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Osceola County
CENTRO CRISTIANO DIOS DE PACTOS CHURCH, 1130 Simmons Road, Kissimmee: This is an appointment-only site with preregistration required through the state vaccine portal or by calling or call 866-201-6507. Residents will be contacted by the county’s vendor to schedule their first dose appointment; the Health Department will schedule the second dose. Residents age 16 and 17 can make an appointment to be vaccinated here but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Hours: Vary, based on appointments.
CHAMBERS PARK COMMUNITY CENTER, 2380 Smith St., Kissimmee: Drive-up site open without appointment through April 30. Hours :9 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days a week.
65th INFANTRY VETERANS PARK, 301 Buenaventura Blvd., Kissimmee: This walk-up site provides up to 200 shots a day. No appointments required. Hours: daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until the day’s doses are depleted.
OSCEOLA Y, 2117 W. Mabbette St., Kissimmee: FEMA is hosting a one-day walk-up vaccination clinic Thursday, April 15, offering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to all adults. Hours: 9 a.m. until supplies are gone.

Residents 18 and older who have obtained an appointment for a COVID19 shot and do not have a way to transport themselves to the Osceola County vaccine site at Centro Cristiano Dios De Pactos Church can call 407-742-0000 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday to find out how to qualify for a ride. Lynx needs at least a 48 hour prior notice to schedule a ride through the Office of Emergency Management (OEM). Since the OEM does not operate on weekends, any ride needed for a Saturday or Monday, must be made the prior Thursday at the latest.
The county also is partnering with Prescriptions Unlimited in St. Cloud to provide vaccinations to home-bound patients 60 and older and home health providers. Providers seeking vaccinations for their staff or patients may call 407-892-7166 or email covid19@unlimitedrx.com to schedule an appointment. Appointments are required.

VOLUSIA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, 3150 E New York Ave, DeLand:
This is a state-supported vaccination site with appointments required through the state vaccine portal at myvaccine.fl.gov or 866-201-7314. (Walk-ups are not accepted.) Individuals who received their first dose COVID-19 vaccine at the Volusia County Fairgrounds should return to the same location on the date written on the back of their vaccination card to receive their second dose. Arrive at the same time as your first-dose appointment. For questions, call the Volusia County Citizens Information Center between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 866-345-0345. DAYTONA BEACH VA CLINIC, 551 National Health Care Dr, Daytona Beach: This is a VA-run facility. Polk County
STATE OPERATED SITES: The county is continuing to use its own vaccination enrollment process at https://register.polk.health rather than the statewide registration system. Enrollments can be made online or by calling the COVID-19 Vaccination Call Center at 863-2987500. Appointment availability is based on the supply of vaccine. The shots are administered by appointment only at 1290 Golfview Ave, Bartow.
