Events Independence Day Open House:
On Monday, July 5, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., family and friends may visit the Morse Museum of American Art free of charge without an appointment. Entry to the Museum will be on a rolling basis, first-come, first-served, allowing for visitor safety guidelines to be followed. Wearing face masks while in the Museum and Museum Shop is requested. On display during the Independence Day celebration, and only for this special time, a 1798 cream jug by American silversmith and patriot Paul Revere (1735—1818) will be featured along with a baseball signed by Babe Ruth (1895—1948), Ty Cobb (1886—1961), and Lou Gehrig (1903—41), legends of America’s pastime. “Fashion For Wishes” charity fashion show:
Proceeds benefit Make-AWish Foundation Chapter of Central and Northern Florida. The runway show includes fashions by featured boutiques - Forema, Downtown Divas featuring Gabriela Lucia Shoes, Continuum, The Impeccable Pig, All Saints, Lady Royalty, Funky AF, Richy Jame$ and Claudia Guitterez Swimwear. Hair and makeup are provided by Leal Marston Salon. Limited runway seats (100) are available for $100, which includes complimentary cocktails all evening.

Hearts Against Hunger 5K:
Run, walk, or stroll through Belle Isle and the Lake Conway area. This is the groups’ annual banquet. The affair will be catered by the Olive Garden. PASOS (Parents and Spouses of Suicide) Grief
Support Group: A program of the nonprofit First Nature Foundation, offers a virtual Zoom meeting twice monthly (for safety during the pandemic), the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The group is facilitated and supported by a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with grief counseling experience.
