UF signee overcame spring baseball injury to tie FHSAA’s modern era record by winning both of his individual state meet events (50- and 100-yard freestyle) for the fourth consecutive year. Had 12 career state titles, counting four relay wins, and won Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Swimming award as the state’s best. Joyce’s automatic All-American (AA-A) 19.77second time in the 50 free broke his own FHSAA final record of 19.79 set as a junior. His 43.80 in the 100 also earned All-American status.

Lake Brantley sophomore Buzz:
Had area’s third best 100 freestyle time of 45.69 and placed seventh in 4A. Placed 10th at state with a 50.48 effort in the 100 backstroke. Led off state champ 200 medley relay.
Nicholas Cecchi West Orange junior Buzz:
Placed third in Class 4A 100 backstroke at 49.09 and fourth in 50 freestyle with 20.77 time. Added a 20.82 leadoff leg on Warriors’ 200 free relay that finished fifth at state.
Andrew Christensen Oviedo senior Buzz:
Swam area-best 1:50.56 in 200 individual medley to place fourth in 4A and finished fifth in 500 free with 4:28.41 time that ranked second in the area. Also on championship 400 relay.
Felipe Costa Celebration senior Buzz:
Class 4A state champion with an AA-A 49.04 time in 100 backstroke. Finished sixth in 100 freestyle (46.05). Added 19.96 split for sixth-place 200 free relay.
Luigi Franco Lake Nona senior Buzz:
Finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (49.96) and 200 free (1:38.99) at Class 4A state meet. He also swam a strong 4:42.81 in the 500 free during the regular season.
Jacob Hamlin Cornerstone Charter junior Buzz:
Area-best 500-yard freestyle time (4:27.30) was good for third in Class 1A state meet and AA-A recognition. Placed sixth in the 200 free with a 1:39.49 time.
Brennan Muramatsu West Orange junior Buzz:
Swam to sixth place for in 4A 100 butterfly final with a 49.40 time that was No. 2 in the area. He was seventh in the 100 back at 50.13 and anchored fast 200 freestyle relay.
Luca Oliva Oviedo junior Buzz:
Swam the area’s second best 200 individual medley time of 1:51.13 to tie for fifth in 4A and third best 500 free time of 4:29.30 (in state prelims) while placing seventh in that event.
Sage Sungail Lake Brantley senior Buzz:
4A state runner-up to Joyce in 100 free with AA-A time of (44.46). Placed third in 200 free with area-best time 1:38.82. Anchored winning 200 medley relay and fourth-place 400 free relay.
Mason Williams Foundation Academy junior Buzz:
Class 1A state runner-up in 100 butterfly (48.43) also finished fourth in 100 backstroke with 49.38 time in state prelims. Both performances were area bests and AA-A times.
