Celebrity chef to open airport eatery

Oprah Winfrey’s former personal chef Art Smith is opening another Orlando restaurant.

Smith, whose Homecomin’ restaurant opened at Disney Springs in 2016, posted on Facebook he plans to open a diner at Orlando International Airport.

Sunshine Diner is expected to open this summer, his post said.

“Don’t expect anything like our other restaurants it will be unique and part of my dream to revitalize the great American diner,” Smith said on Facebook. A native of Jasper, Florida, Smith’s television appearances include “Top Chef Masters”, “Iron Chef America” and “Chopped All Stars.”
