Pet Fair: Free microchip and rabies shots for pets of Orange County residents. Bring proof of Orange County residency. Pet healing and trainers will provide advice and answer questions. A special Blessing of the Pets will take place at 1 p.m., followed by pet contests. Literary luncheon: The Orlando/Winter Park Branch of American Associatio­n of University Women will host its annual Spring Literary Luncheon featuring author Kristin Harmel, who will discuss her latest historical fiction book, “The Forest of Vanishing Stars,” which details the true World War II story of Polish Jews fleeing persecutio­n by hiding in nearby forests through bitter winters, and living off the land. Central Florida Koi and Goldfish Show:

The annual judged koi show will feature entries from across the country, vendors of koi, goldfish, pond supplies, aquatic plants and garden art.
