Disney should stay out of politics

-

I do not understand at all why Disney feels it needs to be a part of politics. This is something parents should be discussing with their kids, not the school system.

Walt and Roy Disney would be stunned to see what their empire has become, after they always protected the innocence of youth. I implore Disney to stay out of politics, as politics preempts progress, especially when it’s about the innocence of children. Childhood isn’t all fun and games either. Remember teasing? Crying over the wrong-flavored Popsicle? Not having control over where you go and what you do? My hope is that Disney goes back to the roots of childhood and respects the sanctity of childhood.

I hope to take my grandson to Disney World someday with his grandmother and parents and watch his eyes in amazement and share with him some of Walt Disney’s endearing quotes, “If you can dream it, you can do it,” “Whatever you do, do it well,” “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”
