Rivera led all Orlando-area players in goals (26) and added 12 assists at forward for the Class 4A state runners-up. Bishop Moore, which finished with a 19-4-5 record, lost 1-0 vs. Miami St. Brenden in its first state final appearance since 2014. The Hornets earned quality wins in the regular season against Trinity Prep, East Ridge, Seminole and Edgewater. Rivera netted four hat tricks and scored a total of 6 goals in four of the team’s final six postseason matches.
