Enzian sets holiday movie schedule with ‘It’s a Wonderful Life,’ ‘Polar Express’ and more

Now that the spooky season is drawing to a close, Enzian is gearing up for the holidays with a series of classic movies and events that will make the season merry and bright for film fans of all ages.

The fun kicks off on Dec. 2 with a free screening of “Mickey’s A Christmas

Carol” followed by “It’s a Wonderful Life” in Central Park, continues throughout the month with showings of family favorites like “White Christmas” and “Home Alone,” and capping off with a post-Christmas screening of “Elf ” on Dec. 28.

One fun highlight this year for families will be a screening of “The Polar Express” on Dec. 4 which will give attendees the chance to write their own letters to Santa and drop them off in a special mailbox at the theater. During the screening, a special menu including cookies and hot cocoa will be available and guests can also take photos in front of a holiday-themed photo backdrop.

Tickets for all events and screenings are available now and the schedule is as follows:

„ 7 p.m. Dec. 2 — Popcorn Flicks in the Park: “It’s a Wonderful Life” preceded by “Mickey’s A Christmas Carol”

„ 11:15 a.m. Dec. 4 — Letters to Santa featuring “The Polar Express”

„ 3 p.m. Dec. 7 — “Home Alone”

„ Noon, Dec. 10 — “White Christmas”

„ 3 p.m. Dec. 14 — “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”

„ Noon Dec. 17 — “Rare Exports

„ Noon, Dec. 18 — “The Wizard of Oz”

„ 3 p.m. Dec. 21 — “A Christmas Story”

„ 3 p.m. Dec. 28 — “Elf ”

As in years past, Enzian’s Eden Bar will offer special holiday cocktails — for guests 21 and older — themed to the different film screenings and events.
