David A. Winters, Sr.

With profound sadness we announce the passing of David Winters, Sr. David, aged 84, departed this world unexpectedly on December 12, 2023 as the result of a pedestrian/automobile accident. David was born to Albert and Lillian Winters on September 4, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio. He then moved to Miami, Florida where he grew up. David honorably served in the United was proud to have

After moving his family to Central Florida in 1972 David began a life long career in commercial real estate. He was passionate about his profession and was highly regarded for his vast knowledge of Central Florida real estate and his unwavering professional integrity. David married Judy Winters September of 1977 and not long after they made Winter Park their beloved hometown. Together they created a beautiful life building lifelong friendships, traveling the world and enjoying time at their New Smyrna Beach condominium. David made friends wherever he went. Whether it was gathering at a local restaurant, supporting a community event, or meeting for his Saturday morning golf game, David will be remembered for his perpetual smile, friendly disposition, and appreciation for people from all walks of life.

At the center of David’s life was his love for family. Many wonderful memories were made together over holidays, family celebrations, and family reunions. David Winters, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend is survived by his wife, Judy Winters; children: Susan Dunlevy (husband, Jerry), David Winters, Jr. (wife, Kimberly), Carolyn Coffey (fiancée, Bill McCurdy); grandchildren: Stephanie Dalpe, Mitchell Coffey, David Winters, III (wife, Jamie), Matthew Coffey, Lauren Gibson (husband, Chase), Caroline Shaw (husband, Stephen); twelve great grandchildren.
