David Bobik, age 74, of Orlando, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 4th. He is predecease­d by his parents, Joseph and Sophie Bobik and his wife of 39 years, Sharon. He is survived by his brother Dennis and wife Edna Bobik, his sister Deborah Barnes and husband Mark, niece Angie Tuggle (Terry), nephews Denny Bobik (Tammy), and Matthew Barnes. David was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Florida in 1959. He graduated from Titusville High School and the University of Florida. He worked for several different companies handling worker’s compensati­on. He was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando, and served as an usher. David loved all sports and especially his Florida Gator football. He was a kind and generous brother, husband, and friend, who will be greatly missed. A Celebratio­n of Life will be held on Monday, November 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the Henry Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Orlando. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frontline Outreach.
