Ruth Ann Dean

Her funeral will be 2018 at Woodlawn Surrounded by loving family and friends until her last breath, Ruth Ann Dean died peacefully on December 5th, 2018 at the age of 78. She was born in Witchita Kansas, where she helped raise her younger siblings Joanie (deceased) & Joseph Bailey before raising her own sons Don & Steve Chapman.

Beautiful, hilarious, a glow in the dark charisma, “Renee” was a star everywhere she went. A devout Catholic and indulgent dog owner, she always put those she loved before herself. Throughout our lives, we could bring her any problem and would be met with a glazed doughnut and a generous ear.

Even at the end of her life, she retained her dignity and sense of humor. She is survived by her brother, sons, loving husband, Tom Dean, devoted stepson, David Dean, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
