Carl B. Miller

Carl B. Miller, 91, of Longwood, FL., passed peacefully on November 28, 2018. Born July 20, 1927, he was the only son of Otto and Bernice Ray Miller. He joined the Navy at age 17 and served at the end of WWII and Korea. He attended Blackburn College and the University of Illinois where he was awarded a B.S. in Food Technology. He worked in some phase of the food industry all his life and spent the last 25 years working for Goodings Supermarkets. He is survived by is wife of 67 years; Nancy (McKelvey), daughter; Karen M. Hulbert, son; Gregory A. Miller. A son Curtis Ray Miller preceeded him in death. He has six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday December 18, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Wekiva Presbyterian Church. In Lieu of flowers, a donation to Second Harvest Food Bank would be appreciated.
