Peter Christo­pher Pap­pas, 61, passed away sud­denly from heart fail­ure on De­cem­ber 26, 2018 in Or­lando, Florida. Born on July 21, 1957 in Brook­lyn, New York to Thomas and Linda Pap­pas, he is sur­vived by his wife, Julie; broth­ers John and Tommy (Janet); mother in law Ellen Daniel (Dave), Father in law Lance Willing­ham, Sr. (Diane) and brother in law Lance Willing­ham, Jr. (Diane), nieces (Jes­sica Pap­pas, Lainey Willing­ham) and neph­ews (Kyle Pap­pas and Ryan Willing­ham) and his beloved Ha­vanese pup­pies, Bella and Bax­ter. Peter was a Cer­ti­fied Pub­lic Ac­coun­tant and tax at­tor­ney for more than 35 years with of­fices in Or­lando and Tampa. He was a mem­ber of the Or­ange County Bar, Florida Bar, Amer­i­can As­so­ci­a­tion of At­tor­ney – CPA’, Amer­i­can In­sti­tute of Cer­ti­fied Pub­lic Ac­coun­tants and the Amer­i­can Bar As­so­ci­a­tion. He was the au­thor of the re­spected and of­ten quoted The Tax Lawyer’s Blog as well as re­lated ar­ti­cles fea­tured in lo­cal pub­li­ca­tions and na­tion­ally in Forbes.

Peter was a de­voted son, a lov­ing hus­band, a sup­port­ive brother, a stead­fast friend, an en­cour­ag­ing un­cle, a trusted coun­selor and a dot­ing daddy to his dogs. A pri­vate cel­e­bra­tion of the life of Peter C. Pap­pas is be­ing planned.
