Bonnie Lee Blue, 90 years old of Andover, KS and Orlando, FL passed away on 31 Dec. 2018.
She is survived by her two sons, Terry Blue and his wife Luann of Andover KS and Danny Blue and his wife Dianne of Orlando, Fl., 3 grandchildren, Casie Tullis (Blue), Dr. Christopher Blue, Ryan Blue, and 5 great grandchildren, Dawson, Zoe, Brecken, Jameson, Joslynn and loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in her death by her husband of 63 years, Homer (Skip) Blue. Bonnie was born in Pittsburgh PA, lived in Cumberland MD, and graduated Allegany High School class of 1946. In the mid 50s she moved to Orlando, Fl. Bonnie was an active mother being involved with her son’s activities. Always looking for how to expand her unique artistic talents, she built a small business of making custom handmade ceramics. She was a master seamstress and quilter and never hesitated or missed an opportunity to teach or learn new skills. Her skills and artistic talents won her many awards and accomplishments. Her travel took her as far north as the Arctic Circle in Alaska, to touring Europe, visiting Mexico and Canada, and just about all the states across the U.S. Most of all Bonnie loved being around family and friends. She will dearly be missed by all who knew her.
