Study finds more people text while driving

-

Forty-eight percent of drivers 18 to 29 admitted to accessing the Internet while driving, according to a study of 1,000 drivers by State Farm. That’s up from 29 percent three years ago. You are 23 times more likely to get in an accident if texting behind the wheel. And if you text for even 5 seconds at 55 mph, that means your eyes will be off the road for roughly a football field’s length.
