Victim says he recalls little of shooting

One week after a gunshot victim was pulled from the flames that engulfed his Orange County home on Quincy Woods Lane, he awoke and talked to investigators. James Succi, 44, wasn’t able to give much information about how the fire started or who shot him, the Sheriff’s Office said. He told deputies the only thing he remembered was hearing a loud noise inside his home Nov. 20 and seeing a bright flash. He remembered falling, then waking up in a hospital. An Orlando Sentinel deliveryman pulled Succi from the flames. Police say Succi may have been targeted.
