Yum Yum Cupcake truck adds 3 artisans for holidays

Joey Conicella and Alex Marin, owners of the Yum Yum Cupcake food truck, have converted their mobile dessert kitchen into the Yum Yum Holiday Shoppe for the holiday season.

Conicella and Marin have added confection­s from three local artisans to their menu at all December Food Truck Bazaar locations. When Yum Yum rolls into these events, also look for your:

Wondermade Marshmallo­ws: Think maple bacon and Guinness in a soft pillow of gourmet marshmallo­w(wondermade.com).

P is for Pie: Fromscratc­h gourmet pie pops like bourbon apple on a stick (crazyforpi­es.com).

Sweet Six Candy Co.: Brown sugar candy that mixes stout, bacon and pumpkin in one bite (sweet sixcandy.com).

“Hopefully we can give these small startups the jumpstart we were fortunate to have when we launched,” says Conicella.

The expanded local menu debuts at The Food Truck Bazaar in downtown Sanford 6-9 p.m. Saturday Dec. 1 at Palmetto Avenue and Seminole Boulevard.
