Jack Russell terrier beaten to death

The Jack Russell terrier had been barking Monday night while David Crivelli and his girlfriend argued. After Crivelli punched her several times, authorities said, he turned to their dog. He grabbed a full bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne and “struck the dog multiple times in the head,” the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said. The dog died. Crivelli, 49, buried it in the front yard of the couple’s homein Hudson. Crivelli’s girlfriend, Amanda Gardner, whose left eye was swollen shut, said the fight started because he didn’t like her working at Lollipops, a strip club.
