2013 photograph­y contest: The Orange Audubon Society is accepting entries for its 25th annual Kit and Sidney Chertok Florida Native Nature Photograph­y Contest. The theme for the digital contest is “Florida’s Creatures and Features.” Entries cannot show humans, human-made structures or artifacts, or discernibl­e fauna or flora non-native to Florida. Two digital images in .jpg format must be submitted for each photo, one low resolution (file size of 1MB or less) for projection and one high resolution for printing. Files must be submitted on CDs readable by PC-based applicatio­ns. You may convert prints, negatives or slides (transparen­cies) to digital images before entering.
