Anibal Sanchez helped the Tigers blank the Twins for the second straight game, Jose Iglesias had four hits and Alex Avila scored four runs in an 11-0 rout Wednesday in Detroit.

Angels at Mariners: The Angels’ Matt Shoemaker went 2-0 with a 1.77 ERA in four games against the Mariners last year, when he was runner-up for AL ROY.
