Two Flagler County residents in a child-porn case also face charges of sex attacks on children, state officials announced this week.

Paul Dykes Jr., 18, and his former girlfriend, Erin Marie Vickers, 20, are accused of capital sexual-battery after an investigation found Dykes and Vickers allegedly battered two girls in separate incidents, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Wednesday.

Agents charged Dykes last month with10 counts of child pornography and two counts of transmission of child pornography. They arrested him March 26 after officers with a warrant searched his home on Buffalo Meadow Lane in Palm Coast, FDLE said.

“As the investigation continued, investigators found images of Dykes abusing a child under the age of 5 and images of Vickers abusing another child under the age of 5,” FDLE said in a statement.

Agents with FDLE and deputies with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested Vickers on Wednesday, charging her with capital sexual battery on a child under 12. Dykes is also charged with capital sexual battery on a child under 12 and promoting a sexual performance by a child.

The suspects are being held in the Flagler County Detention Facility without bond.
