♦Festival of lights:

Orange County Parks and Recreation will have a “Festival of Lights” on the shores of Lake Jessamine. The 1925 estate house and the park will be adorned with thousands of twinkling lights and holiday displays. The park is open for drive-thru viewing only. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Nov. 30-Dec. 4, Cypress Grove Park, 290 W. Holden Ave., Orlando, $3 per vehicle, per night, or free with a new, unwrapped toy donation to Mayor Teresa Jacobs’ Holiday Heroes Toy Drive, 407-836-6200.

♦Birds of the beach:

Don Picard, president of the Southeast Volusia Audubon Society, will discuss the habits and habitats of some of the common birds that fly, forage and nest along Volusia County’s coastline. 2 p.m., DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave., DeLand, free, 386-822-6430.

Tuesday ♦World AIDS Day Commemorat­ion:

The Heart of Florida United Way, in collaborat­ion with the Florida Department of Health in Orange County and other community organizati­ons are hosting the Night of Remembranc­e, Celebratio­n and Education event. Free HIV testing begins at noon. Live entertainm­ent and the celebratio­n will be from 6-7:30 p.m., Walt Disney Amphitheat­er at Lake Eola Park, 101 N. Rosalind Ave., Orlando, free, 407-429-2197.

♦Jewish Genealogic­al Society of Greater Orlando:
