Police: Ohio pastor killed by his brother at church

DAYTON, Ohio — An Ohio pastor was shot and killed at his church Sunday, and police have taken his brother into custody for the slaying.

William Schooler, 70, was shot in his office at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church, Dayton police said. His brother, Daniel Gregory Schooler, 68, will face a murder charge, police Sgt. Richard Blommel said.

Blommel says the pastor was the only intended victim of the act.
