FHP: Motorcyclist dies after hitting car

A motorcyclist from Orlando was killed in an early Sunday morning crash east of UCF, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The crash took place just after midnight when Josie MooreBoatright, 23, of Grand Island attempted to make a U-turn in her Ford Mustang at the entrance to the East Lake Elementary School on Tanner Road, Sgt. Kim Montes said. The Mustang was struck by a motorcycle driven by Dale Williams, 29, of Orlando who was traveling in the other direction, Montes said. Both the bike and the Mustang ended up overturned on the east shoulder. Williams was pro- nounced dead by a medical examiner, Montes said. MooreBoatright suffered minor injuries.
