Injury-riddled UCF hopes to get on track with pair of home wins
It’s no stretch to say the UCF basketball team’s athletic training room has seen as much action as the hardcourt given all the devastating injuries this season.
With everyone healthy, the Knights promised to challenge for the American Athletic Conference title before a home crowd at Amway Center.
And with some key wins in a respectable conference, UCF was primed for an NCAA Tournament invitation.
Despite losing four key players to significant injuries — with just one returning so far in point guard B.J. Taylor — Johnny Dawkins said all the team’s goals are still in reach.
