No hope for Tebow as NFL cheerleader

-

Guys, we might want to think twice about becoming NFL cheerleaders.

I was sort of psyched to report a couple of weeks ago about two males making the L.A. Rams squad and how their prancing around would allow little boys everywhere to dream of one day becoming sideline eye candy.

Now I’m not so sure I want to don hot pants. The expectations are too darned confusing.

A former Dolphins cheerleader named

filed a complaint last week with the Florida Commission on Human Relations. She said the workplace turned hostile after she told fellow cheerleaders she was waiting until she gets married to have sex.

Ware also posted a Bible verse and image of her baptism on social media, and she wrote a story for the Dolphins blog about her tryout. Her references to God were edited out.

If her complaint is accurate, has no shot at making the Dolphins cheerleading squad.

But wait. Ware said she was inspired by a lawsuit filed by a Saints cheerleader.

posted a photo of herself wearing a lacy one-piece getup on her Instagram account. The Saints fired her for violating a rule prohibiting cheerleaders from appearing in such slinky attire. Cheerleaders are also prohibited from attending parties where players might be present.

On top of that, a group of Bills cheerleaders is suing the team over rules requiring them to follow guidelines like wearing their hair in a “glamorous style” and not being “overly opinionated.” If that complaint is legit,

has no shot at making the Bills cheerleading squad.

Call me a ditz, but I can’t keep this straight. Some teams want cheerleaders to act like nuns. Others ridicule them for having religious beliefs and not cavorting like

on spring break.

Guys, maybe we should just stick to playing football. COMMENTARY Cleveland and just three times in 1932 with the Yankees. New York’s

already has struck out five times in two separate games. Florida’s MLB teams. The Rays and the Marlins were a combined 7-19 heading into the weekend. Forbes rated them the two least valuable franchises in baseball. The Class AA Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp drew more fans Wednesday night than the Marlins.

In non-related news, shouldn’t and

The Seahawks reportedly canceled an interview with the quarterback last week after Kaepernick didn’t assure them his kneeling days were over. And as part of his collusion suit against the NFL, Kaepernick’s lawyers deposed Cowboys owner

CNN reported that investigators have not found evidence of actual collusion, but they do question why Jones paid $1 million to be a draft consultant.

McGwire, now a hitting coach with San Diego, also said everyone on the Marlins roster will need to take PEDs if the team is going to hit 70 home runs this season.

In related news, Florida fans have bought 47,284 tickets to watch

and share a milkshake at a Jacksonville Dairy Queen.

A Connecticut man was arrested last week after he robbed a bank of $1,600, drove to Rhode Island mansion and threw some of the money over the fence in hope of impressing the singer.

The man told police he was just an Ole Miss fan and was reenacting how

made big news last week when he said on Today” that he’d suffered thousands of concussions during his career. The big news wasn’t that Favre had his brain rattled so often. It was that somebody was watching the show.

The NBA released its draft guidelines last week. Players are expected to dress in a “glamorous style” and is not allowed to attend any warroom meetings where the future of a franchise might be present.

told The Athletic that his head didn’t need PEDs to swell to the size of a 40-pound pumpkin.

Figuring he can’t do any worse than their current shortstop, the Rays have called up for the rest of the season.
