Orlando Sentinel - - LOCAL & STATE - Jeff Weiner

Police arrested three teen suspected in an armed robbery at a Steak ‘n Shake restaurant in Ocala early Wednesday, the Ocala Police Department said. In a statement posted to the agency’s Facebook page, police said two of the teens, wearing bandanas, entered the Steak ‘n Shake on College Road about 12:12 a.m. and held the manager at gunpoint. They demanded taht the manager open registers, police said, then fled in a Toyota Prius driven by a third teen. They left, but were seen on State Road 200, police said. When officers tried to stop the car, it sped off, leading to a chase and crash, the Ocala Police Department said.

Video released by the agency showed officers with guns drawn approaching the car, which had flipped onto its roof. The teens are shown crawling out and surrendering to police. The car had been stolen from Apopka on Monday, police said. Two of the boys were hospitalized for injuries. All three — two aged 16, one 17 — face charges of robbery with a firearm, police said. One of the two 16-yearolds also faces an auto theft charge.
